As a dedicated LGBT+ charity that focuses on preventing and reducing social isolation for LGBT+ people, we’re proud of arranging events and activities that tackle this including our LGBT+ Community Hub at Reading Pride and our monthly events at the Blagrave. That’s why we’re ensuring that there is space in the parade for you that isn’t aligned to a specific group, corporation or organisation.

When we began, we promised a home to everyone regardless of who you are or what you choose to wear and this remains our ethos today. So for this years Reading Pride parade, not only do we want to make sure that there is a space for everyone but we want to invite, showcase and bring together all of the different members of the LGBT+ communities that make up the LGBT+ family: lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer alongside Drag Queens, Leathermen and Leather women, Rubber men and Rubber women, Puppies and Kittens or just a suit or a pair of jeans!

We need to keep Reading Pride abreast of numbers taking part so please add yourself to the event!

Whatever each of our tribes, we are better together and all united as a friend of Dorothy.
